My compaq and other compaq users i know have the same problems i do, continuous freezes. unless you can save your hard work on the computer half a milisecond before it freezes or can fix the problem yourself, don't buy a compaq. it's not worth the hassle and the headaches. YOU CANNOT BE ON THE COMPUTER FOR MORE THAN FIVE MINUTES BEFORE IT FREEZES. IN A HALF HOUR TIME YOU COULD RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AT LEAST 10 TIMES BECAUSE OF ALL THE FREEZING IT DOES. Compaq sucks BIG time!!! I onced searched on the internet compaq freezes and in all the mess of the results i found a website that stated that there was a problem that causes the computer to freeze up. it's the manufacturer's fault. stupid compaq. what's worse on my behalf was we had a packard bell and the hard drive stopped responding and we took it back to compusa and they gave us an exchange: a compaq. so now, i hate compUSA too.
