Ditto - Great Catalog, Great Service (Reply to this comment)

Crutchfield has been around for many years. In my experience, they have good prices but not the absolute lowest on the web. They have great service, fast and reliable; when they say something is in stock, you can believe them. The catalog is an education in itself... always useful and informative. Most recent development is that they are now tied into the Amazon.com website. This should increase their volume of sales, so it will be interesting to see if they can maintain their customary level of service.
I have ordered several stereo components from Crutchfield over the years and have always been pleased. Most recently I bought a 34 in Sony picture tube style HDTV... 200 lbs, delivered by truck, and carried upstairs to the bedroom. I bought this set first from Best Buy a few dollars cheaper, with first available delivery date in 3 weeks. Then BB called and canceled the night before scheduled delivery... none left in stock and unknown when they would be getting any in. I then canceled with Best Buy and ordered from Crutchfield's website, which was what I should have done in the first place... the set was shipped immediately and delivered within a week. So don't be afraid to order anything they sell, large or small... or very, very large (and heavy)!

Great review Lisa! I have used Crutchfield.com for quite and while and have always been impressed with their products and pricing, but mostly with their customer service. Those guys (and gals) really TRY to please.
