The Bottom Line If you are selling or buying eBay is the way to go. You will find it, if you want it. You can sell it if you try.

I have been a regular seller on eBay for almost 3 years now. Each year things just seem to get easier eBay provides a picture service, free counter service, free re-listing (for a second time list, if the item sales) and many other suggestions for your auctions.
I deal a lot in items that are collectible items. eBay has been a very successful way for me to sell and buy these items. The fees are very reasonable.
$.01-$9.99 $.30.
$10.00-$19.99 $.55
The Good
eBay is very well-known site. For that reason alone, many many people go there looking for items. Since the listing of the free pictures with your listings (up to two images free per item), many of the items are moving much faster. The easy listing of pictures for your auction is as simple as point, click, drag and paste. So very easy for everyone to see the item that is up for auction.
The counter system, lets you know how many people looked at your item. This service is also free.
There is a new item offered for free, a buy now item. That is for quick selling items that don't need 3 days to list.
There item listed will state that you can buy it now for a set price. Not waiting is needed as long as someone is looking for that item.
eBay will issue me a credit for items that a person is not going to buy after bidding for it. If my item does not sell the first time, then eBay will let me list it for free, if it sells the second time around.
You have ratings and know what you are getting into. Each transaction is rated by the seller and buyer of the item. You can tell your side of each item and the way you were treated buy the person you are dealing with.
I can go on and on, but if you are looking to sell an item, eBay is the way to go.
Buying, is just as easy. Search for the items or item that you are looking for. Check out if the seller has been a good business person, and if the items are in the shape that they state. Place your bid, pay for the item and receive the item. Just like shopping in the store, except no crowds, no waiting, and most of the time, a much better deal than the store.
One of the best things, if you are a seller or buyer you can rate how your experience went. Then you make it much easier for the next person to see what will happen to them. Unlike a store, if you don't the person who has been shopping there before you really are not sure what is going to happen with you and your product.
The bad
The shortest time that you can list an item for with using buy now is 3 days. Would like to be able to only list my item for the time I want.
You are going to have to put a credit card on file with eBay if you are going to sell. But you can send payments in buy mail, not to have your credit card billed for the listing fees and selling fees. There is also a selling fee for the items that you sell. Those couple of things are the only negative things that I can find wrong with eBay over the past couple of years I have been there.
I am sure if you try eBay you will be hooked!!!!!!!
