Pros: BLOODY HUGE
Cons: at 90 pounds, you need a sturdy desk
The Bottom Line: I paid $100 because the sales guy was convinced it was broken...otherwise, i would have been stuck with a $1600 bill. But even at that cost, I highly recommend it.

UPDATED: I guess the price of this bad boy has dropped a lot since I bought it...witht he advent of the Plasma screen, it appears CRTs are becoming obsolete. Oh well.
END OF UPDATE
Having read the other reviews on this product, I have come to the conclusion that those 3 people either have terrible luck, or God hates them. Tipping the price scale at $1600, I can see why people are angry and frustrated with this monitor's poor performance. But since my monitor was bought 2nd-hand at a crappy little Computer store in downtown Toronto, in an area famous for its' low computer prices but notorious for cut-rate and often faulty products, and it works BEAUTIFULLY, I have to assume that, as I said, God has it in for those 3 poor souls.
SPECS
It's a 21-inch monitor pretty much in name only...since it's god a pretty wide aspect ratio, and nearly a 20-inch viewable area, it's almost a 22-inch...the case measures 24 inches from corner to corner. Needless to say, that's freakin' huge. The best feature, of course, it the built-in 4-port USB hub. Now I have a place to connect my Wingman gamepad and my Digital camera without getting on all fours and fumbling around behind the case. As I mentioned, the viewable area is enourmous...however, since I'm running a PC, it doesn't quite go corner-to-corner, and there's no way I can install ColorSync. In fact, I had to play around a lot with refresh rates and screen resolutions in order to avoid any skewing of the screen. However, once that was fixed, it was rock-solid, and has been ever since. In the 6 months I've had it, it hasn't given me any trouble that isn't inherent with using a mac product on a PC.
DETAILS
The main point of having such an enourmous monitor, of course, is 2 part: Viewable area, and colour quality. I've already harped on the former, so allow me to say the colour quality is SUPERB. Even without the benefit of ColorSync technology, my images are bright, vibrant, and VERY true...being a graphic designer, I flib abck and forth from CMYK to RGB all the time. With my old Nokia, and before that, Compaq, monitors, I saw virtually no difference, making for a very frustrating time; with the S.D., the difference is clear. I am freakin' overjoyed.
I am running an Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 440 with 8x AGP, dual display, and TV-Out. The Nview Technology is very helpful in calibrating this monitor, since as I've said, it's designed for MAC software. When purchasing this monitor, one may want to keep that in mind.
IN the end, while the cost really is ENOURMOUS (I guess it's about $900 US or so), with Apple's tech support and warranty, while it may be a headache, this is an amazing product for those who can't afford a plasma screen yet. (Next on my list...)
