Not the best choice

Pros: Easy to use Lots of functions

Cons: Software Parallel port only No support for Windows 2000/XP

The Bottom Line: Don't buy this. Without support for Win2k or XP it's completely outdated.

When I first looked at this multi-function device it looked like a good buy, then the problems started.

Windows software doesn't work under Windows 2000 or XP. According to Oki's website they will not release software that supports either of them.

Also, software is not very good. Lacks all the functions of a dedicated fax software. Doesn't have an option to backup/restore and is prone to crashing.

Parallel port only, and then EPP only. ECP not supported.

Parallel cable is too short and according to them you shouldn't use another parallel cable.

Oki support is really lacking. Knowledge base is useless and email support just points you to knowledge base.

Keeps giving a low toner message even when loaded with a new cartridge.
