I bought a logitech quickcam express and was quite disappointed at the quality of the video. I was able to obtain much sharper (and less snowy) video using some other cheap non-descript webcam. At 320x240 quality is tolerable but the camera performs very poorly and images are always darkish.

The software that came along it was not very good (infact I felt that it had some scumware in it, though am not sure).

I have taken many stills with this webcam and they are also quite pathetic. I guess the quickcam pro might hold a better promise as far as quality is concerned. This camera is something that one can avoid.
