Pros: Same great weight loss results, no jitters or racing heart, good $ value
Cons: temp. stomach discomfort "see review for more on this", no other problems
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this product. It's a great diet aid, without the side effects associated with ephedrine products.

| libragirlsc's Full Review: Cytodyne Xenadrine EFX |
Product Name: Xenadrine EFX (ephedrine free)
Cost: 29.95 for a bottle of 90 capsules at most retail outlets.
Dosage: 2 capsules twice daily (early morning and early afternoon)
What I liked: I have used the RFA-1 formula on and off for about a year. I have always been afraid of ephedrine based products and I did another review where I pointed out the importance of good diet and exercise, instead of relying on this product. The RFA-1 formula gave me the jitters and made my heart race. I rarely took the 4 capsules a day that the package suggested. I usually chose to stay at 2 capsules a day. I lost 18 pounds while on the RFA-1 formula, with a sensible diet (low fat), but little or no exercise. I was skeptical to switch to the EFX formula because most products that are ephedrine free just don't deliver. But, safety was first in my mind, so I decided to give it a try. I have been pleased with the results. I was already at my desired weight and while taking the EFX formula I have lost no more weight, but I haven't gained any either. So, I am using it for maintenance purposes. I have a friend that has also switched to EFX, she was still above her desired weight and she is still steadily losing the weight. She is losing about 4-6 lbs per month, which is a reasonable amount to lose and keep off. She is doing strictly the capsule, no special diet, no exercising.
What I didn't like: Nothing. There is really nothing to complain about with this formula. It caused some nervous stomach the first week I was on it, but this is most likely due to the green tea extract which helps to detoxify impurities from the body and flush them out of your system, that's not a bad thing and many people need to detoxify their system more regularly.
Personal Advice: I think either formula is great, but honestly the risk involving Ephedrine based products just isn't worth it. This is just as good and without the risks. For those that don't feel they are getting proper results, I would suggest trying this along with some exercise or slightly changing your dietary habits before throwing it out and buying an ephedrine based product. Weight loss is an obtainable goal, but although this product is good, their are no miracle pills out there.
