Pros: Does the job for entry-level to mid-level gamers, low cost
Cons: there are better cards out there, faster, cleaner
The Bottom Line: the card is great for most any game you want to enhance, but if you are a high level gamer, youll want something a little faster (and more expensive)

| catdad-e's Full Review: 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 AGP |
half-life, i loved it, but my 4mb or RAM video card that came with my pc left something to be desired. So I search, I research, and I decide I need video card. I go to the stores, the newest ones are to run me AT LEAST 150 bucks! I hit ebay and take a risk on a pretty old video card. The AGP version of the voodoo3 2000.
I pop it in, installation is a breeze, and before I know it, half-life is almost grabbing me through the screen (of course half-life needed some configuring to work with the card, but that was all). This card has given me ZERO problems and I dont regret one bit that a bought it for my somewhat old PC (PII 350mhz, 160RAM) of course for the next PC i build, ill go a little higher class on the vid card. RECOMMEND IT! but search on ebay first
