Pros: Nice sound, nice price easy to use and setup.
Cons: Do not last long, parts not available for repair after 3 years.
The Bottom Line: Do not invest in these speakers, you are taking a gamble that good sound at a cheap price, taking very, very good care of the speakers, poor quality parts.

| retiredat44's Full Review: Aura Aspect 40 Subwoofer |
I purchased 2 sets or Aura Aspect Multi Media Computer Desktop speakers. One set 20/30 and One set 20/40. I purchased them in the year 10/98. On one set (20/40) the volume knob broke internally. I sent an email to:
aurasound.com about getting some new parts. They said the speakers are discontinued and they don't have any parts.
While the speakers sound and look nice, easy to setup, and the price was right, about $100 for each set. Costco was about$75. Frys, about $100. when they break, you end up with worthless junk. And they only sat on a desk, in a newer house, not to hot, not to cold, in a mild climate, and not used for music or hard use. I am 47 years old and used them very little and never loud. I would expect after only a couple years, they would last and if not, at least have some parts available. (the warranty does state 1 year) But, I find this a bad practice in the business community and am grateful for website where I can voice my consumer product opinion. Just very tired and upset of products with built in obsolescence and cheap plastic. You get what you pay for applies here.
