I have had my Nextel i85s phone for a little over one year. It has nice features and was a pleasure to use. Starting 3 months ago I would occaisionally notice an "incompatible charger" message on the phone when plugged in for charging. Unless I noticed it immediately I would have no phone available when needed. Jiggling the plug would get it to charge. Just recently it would no longer charge at all. When I told Nextel customer service about this I was essentially told "too bad, it's out of warranty. You will have to replace this phone." (At my expense!) I am just now finding out that this is a known issue with this phone. Do you think this is fair?

I now own 2 chargers and a phone that is useless. I'm a sucker.
