After using similar printers made by by family on the HP printers... I chose Sony.. I am sure glad I chose this printer... It is leaps and bounds better than anything I have ever printed from a digital image... there are no borders and operation is a breeze. Loading the paper is easy and it has yet to jam a single time. My family is kicking themselves for buying anything else. If you are gonna spend the cash...may as well do it the right way. It prints directly from windows with no large programs to install and take up space. I refills I found were about $15 for 25 4x6's and it includes the cartridge with every pack. I have not use the memory stick method of printing as I use a camera with CD media instead. Im sure it just as good printing from the memory stick.
