SprintPCS Vision: needs glasses

Pros: Good coverage, Vision web browser works ok.

Cons: Unable to use SMS and email messaging in the Vision service

The Bottom Line: Decent phone coverage. Incomplete Vision service.

I eagerly awaited Sprint's 3G wireless network with its promised faster speeds last year. I switched my accounts from their regular plan to Vision. Our phone coverage is very good in most cities and along most interstates. The Vision web browser also works fairly quickly, but its content was less than what I was used to with both Cingular's and Sprint's regular browsing service. In addition, Sprint has never been able to get my Short Messaging Service and Vision e-mail to work, even after 5 months of calling. I am considering switching services if this is not rectified soon. It really offers no advantages over what Cingular and Verizon are offering here.
