Well, DUDE, I got a Dell and I love it. First let me start with the fact that I am a computer moron but have owned some over the years, it was time to replace my aging Gateway 350mhz machine so I had our IT guy pick out a Dell laptop for me. I told him what I was going to use it for (Burning CD's, making VCD's, watching movies(both as a portable and a TV DVD player), excel, word, and internet).

He selected the Dell Inspiron 4150 with upgraded RAM, the best monitor, and a CD burner. Needless to say, I love it. I have had it for about 2 months now and not a single crash:-).

It burns CDs, VCD's, hooks to my big screen, and is fairly light. The screen looks great except in a lot of light and it is the envy of those friends of mine that have Compaqs and HP's.

For anyone that is a computer moron, the Dell 4150 is for us!!!! Oh yea, shipping was free and it was here about 1 week early.
