Pros: Very Realistic, Extremely Interactive
Cons: No Emergency Procedures (Ie. Emergency Transponder Codes), Memory Hog
The Bottom Line: Despite the fact I love this game, it takes a long time for a rookie gamer to learn all the system commands.

| ansett007's Full Review: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 Standard for Windo... |
I am overall very impressed with the quality of this game. It covers numerous aspects of flight, from landing patterns, to ILS and VFR approaches. Microsoft also went all out on the aircraft controls, virtual cockpit, and exterior aircraft detail. I also love the ability to download and install multiple types aircraft and airlines for installation from private distributors on the net. However I am an individual who likes to push a plane to the limit with flaws and failures, and I found it to be very unsupportive about that. In the event that you create an emergency there is not only no way to convey the problem to Air Traffic Control, but no instructions for emergency situations listed in the immediate flight guide. Though for home use it is still very impressive.
