My fax was broken and I needed to get a new one. I had really liked my old one so I went with an updated version of it. After searching around for the best price I ended up at buydig.com.
THE WEBSITE
The website is user friendly and seems to use a lot of blue for some reason. I would like their website more if the colors were toned down some. It is though easy to navigate.
Across the top there are two bars that follow you throughout the site. On the top bar there are 6 choices
• Home • Corporate • F.A.Q • Catalog • Policies • Specials
Under that there is a blue bar with 6 more choices~ all with drop down bars • Photography • Camcorders • Audio/Video • Electronics • Office Equipment • Computers/Peripherals
There is also a Search Option which can be used with a keyword or by manufacturer.
All of these options follow you throughout the site making it easy to get from one area to another.
SHOPPING
Shopping is easy at buydig.com. Once you find the item you want, you simply click the add to cart button. This will bring you to a page of accessories ranging (for the Fax) from an extended warranty, cables, Cartridge and paper.
When you are ready to check out you will put in your State and the type of shipping you want. Your total will then go from a PRE shipping total to a GRAND total. I was NOT charged sales tax for Washington State.
You then need to give all the regular billing and mailing information including the 3 digit number on the back of your credit card.
Once the order is placed, you will receive an automated confirmation email immediately. The e-mail contains the order details, a confirmation number and states that a FedEx tracking number will be e-mailed upon shipment.
I received the second email two days later and then my Fax two days after that. Much sooner than I had expected! The Fax was wrapped well, contained all the paperwork and arrived in perfect condition.
SHIPPING COST
You have 4 FedEx shipping options • GROUND ~ 10 Business Days • SAVER ~ 5-7 Business Days • 2 DAY AIR ~ 3-4 Business Days • OVERNIGHT 1 - 2 Business Days
The MINIMUM charge is $12.95 which is charged on all orders that total under $100.00.
My order fell into the $100-$499 section and my choices were • $19.95 for GROUND • $29.95 for SAVER • $44.95 for 2 DAY AIR • $64.95 for OVERNIGHT . I choose the $19.95 which was to be delivered within 10 Business Days. BUT... I was charged $29.95 as they have an EXTRA charge added on Fax Machines, DVD Players, Home Theater Equipment, Printers and oversize equipment. The Fax was NOT large enough to qualify as "oversize equipment" but that is their policy.

I had absolutely no problems with buydig.com and I would recommend them! I was able to easily place the order, get a great price and got a fast delivery!
There COULD have been one problem ~ buydig.com calls and tries to sell extra accessories. This is something I REALLY dislike! I did receive such a call (in fact 3) but I have been REALLY busy was not home to take any of them. This did NOT hold up my order ~ it was shipped within 2 days. There are some companies that will NOT ship until they have called you but this was not the case and I REALLY like that!
As always, check, check and recheck A LOT of sites to make sure you are getting the best deal!
