I just read the most disgusting story in Reader's Digest. It's about a man whose bimbo ex-fiancée took off while pregnant to California to give up THEIR child for adoption. The reason the bimbo (there really is no nice word for this woman... and I use that term (woman) loosely) did this was to hurt Michael Elskes for trying to keep her from aborting his unborn child (she was an exotic dancer (for the blind from what I could tell... I hate to put down someone's looks... but damn... there is ugly... then there is FUGLY... that is where Crystal fell) and felt all this child was going to do is ruin her looks (Crystal honey... you had none to lose... you could only gain). So she, being the bitter bimbo she is, ran away to California and gave birth to a baby that she signed away to the Kass family. As soon as Michael Elskes found out where his son was (he was sent a letter to terminate his rights) he went to go get him. I mean it was less then a month after bimbo gave birth that he received this letter, and the minute he did he wanted to get his child back. He figured (as would ANY AMERICAN) that he didn't sign away his rights... his child would be returned immediately to him. That was not the case (most unfortunately). Instead a 3-year legal battle came about. A legal battle that the Kass family spent a quarter of a million dollars on (gee... anyone think Michael Elskes had that much money to spend?). In the end, Michael Elskes did the fatherly thing for his child. He decided to give up the fight in order to give his son a life (a fight that should have NEVER occurred... but when you have money... you can do anything you want... including starting a legal battle for a child that isn't yours). To me this was a case that King Solomon had to deal with. Two mothers claimed a baby boy is theirs. King Solomon suggests cutting the baby in half. The first mother (adoptive parents AKA the Kass family) says YES cut him in half. However, the second mother (the TRUE parent... Michael Elskes) said no no please... just give him to her... spare his life. So all you biological fathers out there... you mean nothing. You have no rights. If your woman decides to give up YOUR baby for adoption you are SOL. If your woman decides to get an abortion... you are SOL. The only time you are useful is that if your woman decides to keep the baby and make you pay out the behind for it. Isn't it nice to know you have no rights? Isn't it nice to know... in every case you are on the short end of the stick? Isn't it nice to know... if someone is rich enough... they can steal your baby from you? I don't know about the rest of you... but I hope like heck the Kass family is ripped apart once this child realizes his *parents* are baby thieves, kidnappers, trash of the earth. I know *I* would be disgusted to find out I was sold to the person who had the most money! That I was ripped from my biological father because my bimbo mother had an axe to grind. This story was a complete take on how poor people (and he wasn't *poor* by anything I could see) must yet again bow before the needs of the rich. If they can't have kids... by golly... you *poor* people *owe* it to them to provide them with one. And by golly... if you don't want... they will use all their money to take the child anyway. I hope people take a good long hard look at this story and wake up. Men who read this... start fighting for your rights! Women shouldn't get to hold all the cards. Women want equality... but only when it suits them. And yes... I AM a woman.  |
