Pros: Very Central. Good restaurant. Busy meeting place in summer.

Armenia Two... We stayed here in 1995. I remember feeling like we were in the Soviet Union. The maids always made us leave our keys with them before we went anywhere. We had to schedule our showers for when the hot water was turned on. We had to order international calls... in fact, I made my first calls home to my parents at Hotel Armenia. I slept off serious jet lag at this hotel. It's a hell of a place. Amazing that Marriott has taken it over and Armenia has Thai and Indian food! When I was there, we were thrilled to have one Chinese restaurant with mediocre food in Yerevan-- I think it opened in 1996. Wow...
