I have actually have not had any bad experiences with this company and they always send me 2 emails after purchase. One confirmation email and another email after the item has shipped. My products have always arrived before the estimated delivery and I have been very satisfied. Amazon is another company that I buy my dvds from but they are the same way! They make you wait 14 days before doing anything just in case they have to ship out another one that you don't receive two because they would be out of money.

DeepDiscountDVD.com is very solid and reliable, but if you elect the free shipping, you have to accept that it's going to be sent media rate which can take 10 business days.
If you were that eager to receive your purchase timely, you should have opted for a different shipping method.
I have ordered from DDDVD.com (and their sister company DeepDiscountCD.com) over a dozen times without incident. But you have to accept slow shipping times with the free shipping option.

The also have a Deep Discount CD store and I ordered from them because everyone else said "out of stock" and theres said in-stock.
I was excited and then it never came (or they took my money) but it never came. I sent them an e-mail and they told me they were waiting on delivery. 3 months later they closed my order and refunded my money.

...maybe b/c the joint is located here or near here in my neck of the woods (chicago nw burbs) that I've actually got everything ordered from them quicker than expected and any preorder has actually arrived before the release date. I think over the years I've ordered 30 or so DVDs from them and with the exception of a few OOS items (which arrived a short time later) I've had zero problems. My only nit is that since I'm a stone's throw from them I have to pay taxes on the items. Or maybe that's just an IL thing. So much for the free shipping. Ah well. It's been a few months since I ordered from them maybe they've gotten too big for their britches?

I guess maybe that's why I stick to Amazon. Their prices are *slightly* higher, but with free shipping it's completely reasonable.
Hope you have better luck on your bargain hunts int the future.
