Pros: Good games e.g: AvP, Doom (Best version!)
Cons: Some very poor games, lack of support from Atari
The Bottom Line: I would buy one because for £29.99 you have a great selection of Classic titles

| jdench's Full Review: Atari Jaguar |
The jaguar is what Atari were good at, it is a powerful console which has some very very good software for it, Tempest 2000, Doom, AvP, Sensible Soccer, Highlander, Black ice - White Noise, Robinsons Requem, Zero - 5, Theme Park, Flashback, Rayman, Cannon Fodder, Power Drive Rally, Iron Soldier I & II. Even the free game which came with my Jaguar was very good (Cybermorph). But the downside is that there are some truly terrible games too such as Kasumi Ninja, Ultra Vortex, Chequered Flag, Wolfenstein, Double Dragon V (Possibly the worst game ever - It's terrible!!)
The lack of software at the begining it what killed this otherwise revolutionary console, the graphics in a good game are truly staggering (tempest 2000's graphical effects are still the best gouroud shading I have seen, when you compair this with what the SNES (Famicon) and Megadrive (Genesis) could offer it was truly exiting and a look at the future, unfortunately the future laid with Sony and the Playstation.
I still play on My jaguar despite owning a Playstation and a PC. They are good systems and playing AvP in the dark is very scary indeed!
