I am reviewing AnyKnockOff.com a site I have ordered from a couple of times at this point.
About the site:
I’ll start by saying that I am not happy with the site at this moment, which is one reason I wanted to review it. I had ordered a couple of belts from this site several months ago. When I came back from Las Vegas I wanted a few other items. Let me tell you what this site is first: “Knock offs are affordable products inspired by today's hottest designers and fashion trends. Knock offs, other than similar in look, are in no way affiliated with the designers from which the inspiration occurs. Knock offs allow consumers the opportunity for the ultimate comparison shopping experience. We tear out the designer label and you save money!”
The site is easy to navigate and loads instantly. There is a frequently asked questions page which I always read and suggest to others that it be read. I like the several featured items on the first page that has given me ideas of what to get in the past. There are twelve departments including new trends, bargains, belts, fragrances, jewelry and handbags. Each link has a nice, neat page or more of items that show the price and what it is a knockoff of including what the price would be if it were made by Prada or Versace. The prices of the belts were terrific ranging from about $20 - $70 for these knockoffs. The quality of the belts was great so I decided to buy a pocketbook and some jewelry.
There is an easy to use pulldown menu so you can go from one page to another without searching around. There are now 13 pages of handbags. I knew what I wanted when I came back from Las Vegas but I didn’t know whether it would be here. I didn’t know when I was in Las Vegas that the bags I saw and really liked were by Fiori (Who ever that is!) and sell for over $200. I bought one. You can “check out the item” and a large photo with a detailed description – size, color and material is listed. I was very happy with the bag, which I paid $34.00 for and it came on time – no problems.
I have never had any problems with the site. I find it very user friendly. What I am a bit upset about is that I recently decided to purchase jewelry. The stones, of course, aren’t real, although they are set in sterling silver. None of the jewelry gives carat weight. I e-mailed the company (There is a note on the site that feedback about the site and how to improve it is welcome.) asking if they could tell me the weight of a few rings. I got a very nice e-mail immediately telling me to give them the items I was interested in and they would get back to me with the weight. They never did. I’m talking 3 weeks and I won’t contact them again. They have just lost my business for now. They did tell me in the e-mail that adding the weight was a good idea and they would consider that in the future but I wanted to buy a couple of pieces now.
Ordering, Shipping and Returns:
You can pay with Visa, American Express, Discover, Novus, and MasterCard.
Ordering is simple. There is nothing tricky about it. There is no registration necessary. The site now ships internationally but you will pay a minimum of $25.00 to do so. Shipping appears to be based on geographical location. The policy says, “Merchandise will be shipped via UPS and is subject to UPS standards and regulations and delivery limitations. AnyKnockOff.com makes every effort to ship all orders within 24 hours of a purchase, Monday through Friday, or according to availability of stock. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified by email.” I have not found a nice page showing me shipping charges but they are shown before I put in my credit card. Shipping for my handbag was $4.50, which is an excellent price, though the bag isn’t very heavy. It would have cost me $8.00 if I had bought 2 of them.
Shipping is free on orders over $100.00.
The return policy is clearly spelled out starting with, “It is important to us at AnyKnockOff.com that you are completely satisfied with your purchases.”
My final thoughts:
I like the products on this site. I really do. I like the variety and the items I have purchased have been great. I have bought knockoffs in Mexico and the prices are similar so I don't feel as if I am getting ripped off here.
I have no problem with the quality in spite of the fact I didn’t spend $300 for my bag or $375 for a Versace inspired $24.00 belt.
You can leave special shipping instructions or one line if it is a gift. I never got confirmation e-mails but it is interesting that the site states that if you return something then a confirmation e-mail is sent.
My final thoughts:
I am recommending this site. I give variety and quality of products 4 stars, ease of navigation and usability 5, customer service 2. I probably will use this site again. I love knock offs and perhaps I will try a ring and see what happens. I can always return it!
