Pros:Features, price, attractive blue lights!
Cons:Heavy, 3hr battery, suboptimal CD writer
The Bottom Line: Good price and features worth buying. If only it were lighter it would be the best.
I bought my HP Pavilion xt375 laptop on ubid many months ago for $1350 so it was a great deal. The day it reached me it did not boot up! HP was excellent with customer support...i called them and they fixed my laptop quickly.
The laptop comes pre-installed with XP-Home edition -- that is a drawback. XP-Pro would be better. The installed software that comes along is quite useless. The laptop is heavy and thick so if you like lifting weights you should not mind.
It has plenty of power and RAM etc. THe CDRW drive and software are not good -- you could end up wasting many CD-R's.
