I've owned my wacom for about 3 months now and have never been disappointed. Here's the deal:
Appearance:
Sleek & attractive. Sturdy and small (doesn't take OVER the desk area).
Functionality
This tablet is the epitome of user friendly. I've shown it to at least 15 people - and I give them no instruction whatsoever... if you trust your instincts, you can use this product without any learning curve. The accuracy is awesome and the intelligence of the pen is remarkable. Press harder for a thicker line, turn upside down to erase.
The buttons on the pen got in my way immediately, but they are easily removed.
Software
Installing the tablet wasn't difficult, but the Wacom software is awfully complex. This is beneficial once you figure out what all the options mean, but until then you can muck up your settings fairly badly.
all in all...
this is not a replacement pointing device by any means, but if you are any kind of doodler, artist or otherwise, you will get hours of use, fun & amazement out of this superiour product.
