We just installed the 4550 in our office after years of struggling with crappy bubblejet output. The speed is far superior to an inkjet. The consumables aren't rally that expensive, and the quality is astounding.

We sent files to HP to print and mail to us as samples so we could seee what it did with the same stuff we would be producing in our office. Go tot theri website and you can request samples printed on a variety of papers and such. Very helpful.

At just under $2000 on sale at Staples, I don't know why we waited so long to buy this machine. It is fantastic. Lots of expansion options with duplexers and extra memory.

The colors are amazingly sharp on plain old copy paper.

If this thing could bleed to the edges, trim and fold, it would put commercial printers out of business...
