I have this motherboard, and I'm sorry to hear of your experience with it... I, too, had the board lose it's BIOS settings once (and only once). Going into the BIOS and picking "Load Performance Defaults", then setting 3 other things to my personal preference solved it quickly (once I figured out what happened...)
My question is...why didn't you go back to your Vendor? I would have to assume you bought online, and the vendor was cold and impersonal, and you won't go back there again, right? ;)
When I had the issue with the board, my LOCAL vendor worked with me to figure it out, and offered to take the board back and replace it, even though it was outside the 90 day warranty...

Lesson Learned... It's a Good Thing if you can show up on your vendor's doorstep if you have continuing issues with something you purchased. Support your local Hole In The Wall Computer Shop! :)

This is a board that gets lots of interest, given its low cost, dual memory support for dimms and ddr ram, and decent performance. Most reviews I've read have mentioned the lack of support though. Still, this board warrants a few more details in your review summarizing how it performs and how easy it is to set up, as many readers are going to be drawn by its low price and ability to keep and reuse old ram if they are upgrading.

I have one of these, and fortunately it works for me pretty well, except I can't get my floppy drive to work. Not a big problem for me, but its a problem others have reported also, yet I can't seem to find an answer. Fortunately, I can live w/o the floppy drive.
