My husband just surprised me with the Croton Gold, diamond watch! I must say, it is truly beautiful as a bracelet, and as a watch. The face is mother of pearl, the bracelet is golden, and the face of the watch is surrounded by very nice diamonds. At first, it was difficult to pull the stem out to set the watch. The stem is very small and hard to grasp. After the watch was set, it all became a wonderful gift of diamonds, gold, and easily read time.
If you have a large wrist, do not despair! This watch is made to fit everyone. My wrist is 6 and a quarter inches round. The bracelet needs to have many, many links removed in order for the watch not to hang, far too large, on my wrist. The face of the watch isn't huge, and I like that. It is a feminine watch, that I will wear with my best night life clothing, as well as with my daily wear. Still, unlike so many smaller faced watches, it IS easily read. The mother of pearl dial is really beautiful as it catches different colors in the lights. The hands are gold and clearly seen. There is a second hand, and I like that.
The watch comes with a life time guarantee, and I was quick to put the guarantee in a safe place. If this watch EVER goes bad, I simply send in the warranty for service. My husband paid $299.00 for the watch, using a t.v. show to buy it on close out. Our family is very clock and watch conscious. We collect beautiful clocks for our home, and we always get excited when we find a good buy on a wonderful watch. Croton has a great reputation, and is not a fly by night company. I like that.
I cannot afford a Rolex with diamonds and gold, but, this Croton makes me feel like I could if I wanted to! I highly recommend this watch as a gift to yourself, or to another!
