Thanks for updating and explaining. Updated my rating. I bought a basic model for my brother for xmas, I tried playing mp3's, and a few games and noticed no problems, so its surprising to me that you've seen problems playing back mp3's. Also bought the crade for him (it was $20, not $30, and is sharp looking with the blue back lit Dell logo) I haven't tried video's though, but I suspect you're right about those.....

Some things you pointed out about the review, such as cradle & MP3 functionality.
Taken from the FAQ :
9. Can I post the same review more than once?
No. Each product or topic must have a unique review. Although many products may contain similarities (for example, among multiple sets of knives by a single manufacturer, the same text could apply to several sets of knives), there should be a minimum of 100 words of unique text in each review.
If you wanna count words, that's fine with me. This review has been changed from the Advanced review, with all the customizations needed. and yes, I do own both units - got one for my son who's still in high school (Basic) - all he needs is the basic organizer - I've used both, and all my information is accurate.

Except for a couple of sentences at the end, this review is a copy of another review you posted. Even though this review is good, Epinions requires each review you post to be unique. Its also not clear that you own this device, just an advanced model, and you are basing your review on that. You didn't mention that the basic model does not include the cradle, for example. Also, the basic model handles MP3's well, as long as you have a flash memory card for storing the files.
