I am one of those people whose eyes water like crazy EVERYTIME I go to chop an onion. I mean, I look like I've been crying for hours by the time I get through... and just to THINK about it, kicks all of that feeling back up again. The Black and Decker Handychopper Plus mincer/chopper HC3000 is the only way I can get through chopping onions! For Valentine's day I made my honey Lasagne, which involves onions! Now, I didn't want to look like a complete idiot when he walked through the door, so to cut down the effect that the onions have on me, i just cut the onion into 6ths, and threw it in. Ta Da! Instant chopped onions. It's easy to use. There's one big button that you can push down on with even the palm of your hand it they're messy, and you don't want to dirty it too much. And they're easy to clean. You just detach the blade from the dish and the dish from the base and throw it on into the dish washer. Nothing to it! I recommend it 100%. It's been a lifesaver for me. It's also great to throw nuts into when you need some chopped walnuts or something like that!
