I have two dogs and know the importance of finding a good vet.
One other thing: if you try a vet for a while and slowly notice that the service is dropping, don't hesitate to find another vet! Lately, our vet and his receptionists only seem to be in it for the money. That's very offensive to an animal lover!

You are so right!! I live in a small town and there are only two vets to choose from. I originally chose one and he was terrible! If it had been up to him, one of my dogs would have been dead. The other vet ended up doing what the first one should have and saved her life. It is a long story and one I am passionate about, maybe I will write a review about it. The point is, research your vets thoroughly just as you said. Thank you for a well written, much needed opinion. I am on my way to read more of your work!
