Oh my gosh, did this ever bring back memories!
Was moderately comfortable if you needed to lie on it in order to coax a baby to sleep. He eventually went to sleep at 2am. The clocks went forward due to British Summer Time. He then awoke at 6am. Not a lot of sleep was had. But then, YOU wont be travelling with Josh, you lucky people!
I have just stumbled across your reviews and have to say I enjoy reading them. You add a sense of humor to a detailed review.
Nice job!

5th room on the 3rd floor. Most hotels do this. AT the Langham, my room was 844, so you enter from the 8th floor. That one was actually a suite, so it had 3 floor levels!
Note that in the UK, the 1st floor is not Ground level, but the one above. I understand it's different in the US.
All the best!

59 rooms and yours was no. 305? (Reply to this comment)

I suppose there's a good reason for this?? Enjoyed the review - I remember thinking Swiss Cottage sounded quite exotic, but coming into London on an overnight coach from Glasgow soon changed my mind!

I agree! As for the origami, that was left for the guests to create. I can make a "Sampan", so that's what I opted for. I understand that the occupants of room 207 made an elaborate scale model of Dubya from their lavatory paper. Unfortunately, this left them with none remaining for its intended purpose. You can only imagine what happened next.
All the best.

Far too few reviews include the all-important floor rating (Reply to this comment)

Glad to see that you didn't forget to cover this vitally important bit of information. Only other question I would have is: in what origami-like configuration were the washcloths and toilet paper?

I do my best to provide a comprehensive coverage. You probably don't want to see the original comment about Swiss men. Or maybe you do. For details of the write-off, look at Iyagushka's home page. It's being hosted by her and Tombarnes.
All the best - and thanks for reading and commenting so positively!

I have missed you and your reviews! Glad to see that The Family Josh are still traveling and alive and kicking! Of course, this is one of your regular fabulous reviews. I'm with George....feeling left out, is this Write off by invitation only? I'm working on one right now!
My best,
Deborah~
