This was our first trip to Disney as a family and saw this hotel on the net and thought it was a great deal. Of course, by accident, my husband booked the wrong hotel and we stayed here instead. Called a few days ahead of time to confirm our reservations. The hotel had no record of us. We later that day found out they entered us as last name first and first name last. That right there should have told us...."Hey...somewhere else maybe?"

We reserved a pool-side room for $59/night. A $2/day resort fee was added to our total. We got the deluxe room, the biggest room with the most amenities...microwave and fridge. A $25 deposit was required for the in-room safe.

The hotel was relatively easy to find. Right off of 1-4. We paid $10 extra for the pool-side view in exchange for keeping an eye on our vehicle. Don't bother with pool-side. Tends to get very loud if you're in the room during pool hours..10am-11pm.

They have a kiddie pool, reg pool and hot tub. Hot tub was always too full both the pools were nice. Also has a bar right at the pool, which was closed some days for no reason.

Only problems we encountered really were ordering the in-room movies. The hotel did not have our credit card information because we booked the room through another company so we had to pay a deposit on our movies. Whatever our total was at the end of the week was taken out of the deposit and we got the remainder. A few of the movies were messed up. Bad picture quality and some sound problems. They sent a repairman to our room thinking it was our TV. Was obvious it was their movie recording value. We tried to access the video games but it never did work. Didn't want to pay another deposit just to get it going.

I peeked through the window of the gift shop cause it was never open when I went there. The game room was though...24 hours.

Got some coupons to Shoney's and IHOP when we checked in. IHOP was right there next to the hotel and Shoney's was down the street. Hotel is well placed as far as restaurants and shopping. There's even a water park a couple of blocks down the street.

Never used the complimentary shuttle service. Saw it was a medium sized van though.

Not that all impressed but was a place to rest your head and lay in a pool at the end of the day.
