Pros: Great coverage, ease of ordering service, great deal on phones
Cons: It drops calls in some areas of my house.
The Bottom Line: Large coverage area and they don't have as stringent credit requirements as other providers. Decently priced for national plans.

| ayeates's Full Review: Verizon Mobile Phone Service in Seattle/Tacoma/Eve... |
First of all, Verizon was one of the only providers who would give me 2 lines of service without a deposit, so that made me extremely happy. I decided to go with their service though because they seem to have the most extensive coverage throughout the US which is important to my husband and I since he is in the military and moving is always possible. I found that their calling packages were exactly what we were looking for and I have to say that ordering the phones and service online was really easy. The phones arrived in a day and a half and activating them was a breeze. So far I am happy with their service. I had Airtouch and had my first experience with Verizon when they switched over. At the time Verizon was quite a bit more expensive so I'm happy to say their prices have gone down. I had no activation fee because I got a 2 year contract, which for us is no problem since we can pretty much move our service anywhere and I foresee having it longer than 2 years anyway. I've also had good experience with their customer service. As long as you stay within your minutes, I think Verizon is the best value and coverage with a good selection of phones and accessories.
