internet storefront sends shoddy merchandise

Purchased a high ticket item at Modell's and they sent me a shopworn demo item, no warrant reg card/instructions or other factory documentation. Store sales tags attached, and poorly packaged for shipping as well. Sending it back (ok they offer a 30 day guarantee but what a waste of time). Since their on-line store is really just a warehouse/distribution front their "customer service" has no access to Modell staff or merchandise. Avoid these internet fronts like the plague.
