There are other much more comfortable slings out there!

Pros:Cooler, nice solids colors, no bulk.
Cons:OWWW! No padding, unadjustable, pretty pricey for what it is.
The Bottom Line: Too pricey, not discreet for nursing, not adjustable unless you can sew a seam in it yourself to make it fit, but mostly it is a backache waiting to happen!

I have been doing research for six months to find the right sling. I narrowed it down to the New Native Baby Carrier and a Kissaluvs sling. My 13lb baby spent 1 1/2 hours in the NNBC and I felt as if my spine would snap in two. I thought I would like this one better than my Kissaluvs sling because I stayed cooler with this one, but the Kissaluvs is still way more comfortable and really not too much warmer. (I live in humid, hot south Georgia). This one has no padding and to make it fit, I had to sew a seam in it because it is not adjustable. My baby seemed to be content in it. It is lightweight, not bulky at all, and can be washed like regular clothing. It also came in simple solid colors that go well with most clothing.

The sling is shaped like a large hobo style purse. You slide it over your head so that it wraps over one shoulder with the pocket resting on the opposite hip. Just slide your baby in so that the baby's bottom is resting in the pocket. You will be "wearing" your baby in the same position as you would if you were carrying him/her on your hip. It is made of a lightweight twill/canvas type fabric. As with many slings/carriers, you can wear your baby on your front, hip, in a lying down style on your side, and your back (but be careful in this position). I chose lilac, but I do remember black and khaki because I almost got one of them and I think there were a couple of other colors.

This carrier would actually be pretty awesome with some light padding. I'm probably going to try to somehow do that so I can make use of the expensive thing. I could've sent it back within ten days, but I waited too long.
