I just purchased this unit and have found that in fact it was not advertised honestly. This unit only has 1 tuner. you must be watching the show your recording. You can not record 1 show while watching another. You can not record 2 shows at one time. Let me tell you a VCR will work better.
Tivo will not work without a guide and the guide has never download correctly. The unit only records some programs, not every program is recordable. Can't record local programing etc. I just waisted a lot of money and will end up in a law suite against American satellite...
