| naid's Full Review: MAG InnoVision 770FS 17" display |
This monitor is good for a home monitor. It is not feature driven and the build quality is low. If you intend to use it for games, then it can fairly satisfy your needs. But this monitor does not suit professional image viewing or editing. It has a high dot-pitch (.27mm) with a diagonal length of 15.9 inches, small compared to others with 16 inches or more. You will have a hard time adjusting the picture settings of the monitor because of the many possible settings it can have aside from the preset picture settings.
The cheap price is also an attraction but this time, you will get what you pay for. Mag also did not indicate what picture tube they used in this monitor whether it is a philips, sony, etc. Most of professionals working on video and images prefer sony picture tube because of their long life span. Well, i put this information to help you choose you picture tube monitor. Sometimes it is not in the brand that matters, it's what's inside.
