Online merchant with small-town values and customer service

NewEgg tripped up just a bit on my billing vs. shipping address, and simultaneously, the price on the item I ordered began to change almost hourly. When I noted this on another ratings site, an amazing thing happened...I got a call from a rep at NewEgg apologizing and offering me the item I had ordered at the price they had earlier, when it was out of stock. Then, when I called back to thank them for their interaction, the rep (without any prompting on my part) added an additional $11 off the price "just for your inconvenience." Wow! They remind me a bit of the old Amazon.com days, when you could be an online retailer but still give personal service. NewEgg has won my loyalty. They are just about the only online store I would purchase from, even if their prices were a bit higher, because I now trust them (and winning my trust can be very difficult).
