Pros: Verizon is a common wireless company and easy to find.
Cons: This is not a good wireless company for a lot of people.
The Bottom Line: Do some research first. Verizon will allow you to think that you are getting the best deal out there. You're not.

| lynnypinion's Full Review: Verizon Mobile Phone Service in Salt Lake City/Ogd... |
Don't be afraid to ask these people every question you need to before signing a contract with them. They allow you to think that these are the best deals out there, and that their phone can be used in any place at any time. I am guessing that they have never been to Idaho. They assured me that I would have no trouble getting service in Southeast Idaho. Unfortunately this is not the case. I purchased the phone in order to feel safe as I commute to work and back on the road - alone. But I might as well not even have a phone because there are only two places I get service in the 61 miles from work to home. Even then, the service cuts out. I am so displeased, because I signed a two-year contract with them and they say that there is absolutely nothing I can do, other than pay the fee for getting out of my contract early. This is not SERVICE. I am sure that in some areas, Verizon might work really well. But if you live in an area that is not at least of 50,000 population, BEWARE. I also think that their rates are pretty high considering what I have heard my friends and family pay. And they get service anywhere. If you are going to go ahead with this company, just make sure you are really getting what you want. I wish I had NEVER signed up.
