Great Review! (Reply to this comment)

That was very well put! I also like your list of recommendations and the way you were specific about which version to get and not to get. There have been so many cheap remakes of great cult classics, it is nowhere near funny. I personally thought Wes Craven's remake of "Carnival Of Souls" was good for a B-movie, but nothing amazing. I have not seen the original version of that last one yet, but I heard it is far better than the remake. Again, great review!

hey man,
thanks for that great write up.....
i have read a dozens of reviews and
many nimrod critics are slamming this
flick. i certainly don't think zombie
was aiming for anything that is mainstream
on this, considering, like you said, he hasn't
encountered a horror flick he didn't like.
he's a total throwback to an error when
horror flicks were fun, gruesome and gut splattering.
i have not seen this yet, but i've been meaning
to and now i will for sure, especially
after reading your review.....
peace,
mike
