I do a lot of online shopping for one main reason ~ the convenience! Where I live there are NO department stores, electronics stores or ANY type of Mall within miles. To be fair there is one small hardware store but I have stepped foot in there exactly two times!
When I do venture out to shop, I have a LONG list of items to get and usually a LONG list of stores to hit as well. What becomes a real pain are the stores that I just need one item at and so, if I can buy those items online, I jump at the chance!
Best Buy is one of the stores that now shop solely online with. Probably because they have so many gadgets, and movies and CD's that it is hard to get the kids to NOT look around and keep me in the store A LOT longer than I had planned. By shopping at BestBuy.com I don't have that problem!
FINDING WHAT YOU NEED
There are two main ways to find what you need by searching or by department.
The search option works by keyword and searches the entire site. There are also search engines in the different departments which can search in just that department and/or the entire site.
The 12 different departments are listed on the left side of the home page.

• Car Audio & Video
• Personal Audio
• Photo & Imaging
• Telephones & Home Office
• Major Appliances
• Accessories
• Music
• Movies
• Software
• Video Games
When you go to one of the departments the bar does not follow you. It changes to a list for that specific department along with a link to get back to the list of departments.
For example when you are in the Major Appliance department the bar changes to ~
• Dishwashers
• Laundry
• Refrigerators
• Freezers
• Ranges
• Back to Home & Departments
SHOPPING
When you find what you want you can click on it for more information, put it to your "think about it folder" or add it directly to your cart.
When you click on a DVD, all the formats and prices will show up which nice. You also get a SYNOPSIS, VERSION DETAILS, CAST, CHARACTER & CREW list, AWARDS and a REVIEW. Hard to get the wrong film with all that information!
Once an item is added to your cart you can choose to continue shopping or move on to checkout.
Checkout is standard ~ all the regular mailing and billing information is require. It is here that you choose if you want to pick up your order at your local store or have it shipped to your home.
An email confirmation is sent soon after ordering and then another one once the order is shipped.
SHIPPING
Standard ground shipping is FREE on ANY size order ~ hard to beat that! The site states your order will arrive in 5-7 working days. I have always used the FREE shipping option and have had my items within that time, usually within a couple of days!
You ARE charged sales tax.
