That's sure true where I live too! There are a lot of times I GLADLY pay for shipping just to have the item sent to my house!

They have FREE standard ground shipping on ANY order going on right now and have for awhile now. I do not know if this will be a full time offer or not. Hopefully it will :-)

My parents have to rent a car to go shopping in the 'burb. So when my father was doing a project and rented a car to shop at Home Depot and found out he was missing a $3 part, he didn't bat an eye to buy the product at HomeDepot.com and happily paid the $4 Shipping.
Sometime on-line shopping is just better, even if you can't always get free shipping.

Cause three months ago I ordered some dvd's and opted to pick them up rather than pay their shipping fees. I haven't been back to the site since as I was so disgusted at the shipping charges.
