I'm glad that I helped you out. I looked at the Diva MP3 players and they are pretty good, especially the CompactFlash support, standard USB jack, and no proprietary software required. If they were available before I bought my Rio, I would have probably bought it.

I read your review about a month ago when looking for mp3 players and found it real informative. Thanks! For what it's worth, I ended up purchasing a Diva mp3 player and it seems to have none of the negatives you cite for the SonicBlue player...AA battery, no proprietary software, CompactFlash expansion card. Been great for me using it outdoors.
