Nice Review!!! (Reply to this comment)
by maceywuesthoff
I read this review because I've been having some problems with customer service at Honda and wondered if anyone else has experienced similar bad treatment. I can tell you know A LOT about cars from reading this review. You should be a top reviewer in this category if you are not already. The review was nice and detailed, too. Again, good job.

Why were you not allowed in? How can they boot you? That is rather rude.
Was their a point besides the sales thought you were wasting his time?
Go to the BMW dealer dressed very nicely, with an expensive chronometer. Nice shoes and handbag.
They will let you drive any car you desire.
It is all about the way you present yourself to the salesman.

I'm full of surprises, huh? The review was not negative, I gave it 3 stars after all..lol.. I just feel that there are better deals out there. Thank you so much for advising me of the errors, I will update ASAP!! As for the GTI being the first fun economy car, yea right Michael! The GTI might have been an economy car in theory, but it even in the early 80s cost more than a fully loaded mid-sized American family car.
Thanks again-

I couldn't tell this wasn't going to be a favorable review until the very end. Until the last few paragraphs everything sounded positive.
The VW GTI first proved that economy cars need not be boring.
I know what you mean by saying that the 160 horses are spread over a broader band, but this isn't accurate. All 160 are present only at or very near the power peak. What you're trying to say is that torque is spread over a broarder band, or that the Si now has a broader torque curve or broader power band.
The writing was touchy in a couple of other places (I recall a "note" that should have been "notably" and a superfluous "being") but overall a fine review.
Oh, and I happen to love the seats in this car.

Hey, Thank you! I not only have full access to all Hondas, but also all Kia's, BMW (only 3 series) Mazda's, and Toyota's (all at the same dealership that I was once booted from). The guy who would not allow me back was fired. If this rain stops I really want to drive a Honda Insight.

...and it's good to know that the Honda dealer is letting you back in the door!

Hi Rocky, it most likely is not a 2003 model unless it's a hatchback. Thanks for the compliment.

Interesting, I don't know which year my cousin's Civic SI is, but it's VERY attractive. Hell, it's not even my car and you'll find me and him at each other's houses or at the car wash cleaning it. And then the sound system, mmmmmmmmmm the sound system...but that's customized =) Nice review.
