| actives's Full Review: Kodak EasyShare LS420 Digital Camera |
This tiny camera takes amazing pictures. I like to take a lot of photos with friends so I am always at a close distance. If you want to take far away shots of smaller objects, you might be out of luck. However, taking a shot of an entire landscape is good, too.
I also have yet to take a bad picture. All pictures come out clear with good brightness and contrast. The pictures are very sharp, but sometimes a little too sharp. That can be taken care of with editing, however. Once in a while I'll run into a photo where there are blotches of discoloration. Basically, just lighter blotches. No real weird colors or anything.
I think the best thing about this camera is that I can bring this camera everywhere. I just keep it in my backpack or even my pocket. I'm ready to take a picture with at any time. And with the rather quick bootup time (about 10 seconds) and quick recovery time (about 3 seconds), I can take many pictures. I also have an sD (secure digital card) with 128MB of storage. This allows me to take 90 2.1MP stills or 9:00 of video with audio. The video is 320x240, but I believe it does 30fps and the built in mic isn't too shabby. Oh yeah.. it has no shutter lag.
