Pros:It was free. Nice software package. Not bad in good light.
Cons:Terrible (unusable) in low light. Terrible stand.
The Bottom Line: I don't know about the whole Logitech Camera Family. But as for the Quickcam Express, if your on a budget you'll be much happier with the IBM PC Cam.

First let me begin by saying that the product I have is the Logitech Quickcam Express. I see that they have all the Logitech cams grouped together. I don't know why that is but they should fix that.

Now on to my review. I got this cam free as part of a promotion for a DSL service I sighed up for. I really didn't need it as I already own an IBM PC Cam. The quick cam is cute and all and the software package which includes 15Mb of webspace for Webcam and Webcast is very nice indeed. At first i was pretty impressed with the cam when i set it up feeling at the time that the picture quality was a little better then the IBM. But boy was I shocked when I turned the cam on that evening. The picture was dark and grainy even when using the back light I have for the IBM. It was awful. The IBM in comparison is like night and day. I should note that the IBM cam and the Logitech cam that I have are both in the same price range. About $40 - $50. Hands down the IBM is the better cam.
