I have to admit I totally agree with Lauade's opinion about the hotel and I do not share Sara's views. I think the service in the Jumeraih Beach Hotel is wonderful and during my 2 week stay there this summer I had great fun. I truly recommend this hotel to beach lovers!

The Best??? THE ULTIMATE!!!!! (Reply to this comment)

I have to say i am utterly surprised by Sara's comments about The Jumeirah Beach Hotel! I have stayed there 4 times in the last 3 years and every single time have been blown away by the service, staff and standards that The Jumeirah Beach Hotel seems to set. I think Sara must have visited on a very rare occasion in order to write such a slating opinion.
The whole atmosphere at the hotel is just so relaxed, its almost as if the minute you walk into the amazing lobby your stresses are lifted away. The beach areas are gorgeous ... and the beach staff (and elsewhere in the hotel) so attentive, genuinely friendly (makes a difference) and helpful - i mean there aren't many places where someone will insist on cleaning your sunglasses and bring you cold towels whilst you bake yourself to a fantastic Dubai tan.
I cannot fault the service or excellent food in any of the restaurants either - and maybe this is one thing Sara is right on - there is a HUGE choice, but how can that ever be a bad thing? She missed out if she only went to the Dhow and Anchor and Colonnade - the Argentinean is out of this world! Steaks and dancing to die for!
BUT, the thing we loved the most was the facilities for the kids...we hardly saw them for half of the week and we could leave them in the kids club, with peace of mind that they were completely catered for whilst we went off and shopped, swam, worked out...bliss!
Overall, i think if you want a quality beach hotel in Dubai (or indeed the rest of the world) The Jumeirah Beach Hotel should really be your only choice. You cannot even begin to compare this to The Fairmont (as a totally different city property). But Sara, if you really want a quality city hotel...you should really be looking at Emirates Towers - we also stayed there once when Jumeirah Beach Hotel was full and it too was awesome...
