Re: Re: Reviewer at fault more than US Cellular (Reply to this comment)

I Dd't know how you can blame US cellular for selling you service out of your area. When they originally sold it to you, you lived in the correct area. You need to take responsibility for you actions. Also I would be grateful if I could change my plan. It is great that US cellular allows their customers to change their plans once a month with out changing their contract. I used to have Nextel and wanted to change my plan because I kept going over my minutes but that would have extended my contract another two years and I didn't want to keep their service because you have to wait on hold two hours to get help, and other issues. They even renewed my contract when I moved because they said the code on my plan changed even though it was the same plan and they did not even bother to tell me. Every company has their rules. As a consumer we need to take responsibility and ask questions and know what we have. Do you go to the grocery store and purchase an item then later get an allergic reaction because you didn't read the label and blame the grocery store?

Apparently you work for Useless Cellular... or have a franchise... When I purchased my phone, I lived in Hudson... In the area... but I moved... the big issue is the Nation Wide plan that is NOT NATION WIDE... since I've dropped that useless company I've had no problem with my NATION WIDE CARRIER, Verizon... If you have to make comments on the internet to boost your business... USELESS CELLUAR is in really rough condition... Like they should be!

Reviewer at fault more than US Cellular (Reply to this comment)

Living in NH and knowing the cellular situation here, it's obvious this reviewer get a cell phone from the WRONG carrier to begin with. If he lived in Rockingham County NH, and ordered his cell phone service from there, he could NOT have gotten US Cellular, because that is not part of their coverage area.
My guess is he worked in Manchester or Concord or Nashua (which ARE in US Cellular's coverage area) and he ordered his phone based on THAT location. Big Mistake. If he had gone to a US Cellular store (they are in Manchester, Nashua, Concord, etc.) they would have TOLD him he needed a REGIONAL PLAN to be able to include Rockingham County as part of his local area, with no roaming charges. I have been with US Cellular for 6 years with NO PROBLEMS.
Yes, in general, Verizon gives good service, but you won't get digital service with Verizon in the northern or western part of NH - you WILL with US Cellular. Rockingham County is unfortunately considered by the FCC to be part of BOSTON Metro area, and it is treated separately for cell phone coverage. Dont blame US Cellular for that. Had he opened his account originally at a US Cellular store, they'd have explained all this. They did to me, anyway.

Cingular Wireless is the same around where I live and I had the same experence with Sprint. Its a huge hassle, but if there is a bright spot you atleast have a learning experence.
Also I live in NY and know quite a bit about your area there, your best option about a new plan would prob be Verizon. Know that you also have Cellular One Dobson by you but you might run into the same problem with them in the future depending on where you use your phone. Atleast Verizon does give you the nationwide on only their network.
