What was said in this review was true in terms of what some limitations are. But for some of these, fixes are coming. For others, I personally don't see them as issues.
The facts are that 3rd parties are working on browser alternatives that will work on the i330 and handle frames, javascript, and java. This is not just an issue with the i330 alone, so simply going to other phones probably will not solve the issue. But there is a big demand for these features to be available, and because of that there will be fixes for it. That's the great thing about the Palm OS - there are lots of 3rd party people that can build for it. It just will take some time for them to get it done.
As for the OS, palm OS 3.5 is not going to die. Too many people use it, or variations of it. And as of now, Palm OS 5 does not offer anything so great that you're missing out on a ton of stuff. The OS is not upgradeable because Samsung has burned in some of their own needs for the i330 into it, much like Handspring does for their Visor models.
If you must have Palm OS 5, then you'll have to wait for the i500. But there really is not that much gained in the OS upgrade to make it worth worrying about that I have seen.

This review was actually pretty informative, but it would have been better if you had given specifications about the phone itself. It would have been better if you had put information about how the phone performed as a phone, in addition to as a PDA. Is it comfortable to hold? How's the reception? What else is there to know about?
