True - but an incomplete review. (Reply to this comment)

The JumpDrive Trio is by far the best solution in the USB driver genre. It's comparable in size to others, cheap enough to break, and flexible enough to allow you to reuse all you existing memory from computer, to camera, to MP3 player, to PDA.

However, after a couple of months use the following are worthy additions to this review:

1. The USB cap has completely disintegrated. It appears the metal of the USB plug digs into the cap and causes it to crack when transported in a pocket - kinda irrelevant as it doesn't need the cap, but also a little annoying.

2. It also works fine with Memory stick (hence the trio-name).

3. The shape of the device can restrict it being plugged into a computer. Fortunately, Lexar ship it with a USB extension cable to solve such problems.

4. If the device seems to be responding strangely in Windows check the format of your memory. This (or memory corruption) account for such problems.

5. The unit requires a full-current 5V USB interface. A chained USB socket (such as on an iMAC) doesn't have sufficient power to drive the device.

Other than that, this roqs - why the heck anyone would want a fixed memory USB drive is beyond me. A JumpDrive + SD card is around 20% cheaper and way more flexible.

I agree, but it is a great replacement for those cumbersome zip drives.
