This is a seriously great product. Instead is exactly what it says it is and I would most highly recommend this product to any female, whether satisfied or not with pads or tampons. It can be a little messy upon emptying, but that is easily remedied by a little soap and water. It takes a few times to get fully used to it, but once you've got the knack - you can hardly feel the product AT ALL. The price might be a little higher (I've never been one for comparison shopping) but since you can wear Instead far longer than tampons or pads, you'll use fewer ones than tampons. Not to mention the fact that there's no weird smell - the blood doesn't have a chance to decompose since it never hits the air. I absolutely love Instead.
