Same story here... long hair, in a ponytail, using a dremel. I work at a vet's office and we use the dremel w/ grinder bit to file down dog's nails. Luckily my co-worker unplugged the damn thing before it could snake too far up my head. Anyway, I was rushed to the hair salon next door to get it out. Not too much cut. Sigh, the calamities of being female and adept with power tools.

The same principles apply to clothing and knit gloves. Loose clothing can get caught and climb right up your shirt tails or sleeve. I've seen it happen.
